About Enabling a Rubric

After you create a rubric, you need to enable it before you can use intelligent scoring.

Attention: Once a rubric is enabled, all new documents that get categorized into the scoring model going forward will get an intelligent score and with additional Intelligent Scoring artifacts.

Enabling a Rubric

Navigate to Intelligent Scoring.
Select a project.
Under Enabled, turn the switch on next to your rubric.

Qtip: You can also use the dropdown menu next to a rubric to enable or disable it.

Disabling a Rubric

To disable a rubric, turn off the Enabled switch, or expand the menu and select Disable.

Disabled rubrics cannot be used in reports and do not generate intelligent scoring artifacts.

Disabled rubrics remain in Studio and can be re-enabled any time. However, you can also delete a rubric if you no longer need it.

The Settings tab is where you can modify general project settings, intercept settings, and session replay settings. Before you get started, it helps to get familiar with how this tab is organized.

Creating Rubrics

After you’ve selected a model for scoring, you can create a rubric. Rubrics define the scoring criteria for documents. You can set content that should be present or absent in order to pass, the relative weight, and automatic failures for each scoring criteria.

Managing Rubrics

Once you create a rubric, you can change its scoring model, topics, and weights. You can also delete rubrics you don’t need anymore.

Selecting a Scoring Model

The first step in setting up intelligent scoring is selecting a category model to use for scoring.

Using Drivers in Intelligent...

Drivers are key predictors of a particular outcome in your data. By using drivers with intelligent scoring, you can select and weigh rubric criteria based on how likely each criteria is to drive a particular outcome in your data, thus improving your rubrics’ accuracy.

Scorecard Metrics (Studio)

The Scorecard Metrics folder contains metrics created automatically for each intelligent scoring rubric. You cannot edit these metrics directly; they're updated automatically based on the rubric's definition.
