Target & Variance Reporting (Studio)
About Target and Variance Reporting
Target and variance reporting can help you quantify how each level of your organization stacks up to its targets and how these targets vary in comparison to the actual KPIs. To leverage target and variance reporting, you need to:
- Activate and publish your organization hierarchy.
- Define a target metric for organization levels via the enrichment parameters.
- Define a variance metric via the Custom Math metric.
- Group data by your organization hierarchy in the table widget settings. (See the next section.)
When all of these conditions are met, you will be able to use both the target metric and the variance metric as widget calculations.
