About Social Connect User Profiles & Badges

Your profile shows you an overview of badges that you have earned.

What Are Badges?

Badges in Social Connect are awards that are given to users when they perform certain actions. This could be creating a post for the first time, performing a password reset, changing your account timezone, and much more. You can view your badges when on your profile.

Accessing Your User Profile

To access your profile:

Click the user icon in the top right corner.
Select Your Profile.

Once you’re on this page, you can review the badges that you’ve earned. You can also view a log of the badge activity for other users in your account.

Customizing Your Profile

You can customize some aspects of your profile. Click the gear icon to access your customization options.

Upload cover photo: Add a cover photo to your profile.
Remove cover photo: Remove the cover photo from your profile.
Color schemes: Choose a color scheme for your profile.
Personal settings: Go to the personal settings page to customize your account.

Connecting a LinkedIn Profil...

Connecting your brand’s LinkedIn profile to your Social Connect account allows you to keep an eye on the conversations surrounding your brand. You can monitor how much engagement your posts are collecting, as well as respond to potential clients, employees, and other connections who interact with your content.

Using a Custom Reply Profile

When you reply to mentions in your inbox, a default reply profile is automatically selected for each social media service you use. If you don’t want to use the default profile, you can configure a custom reply profile for each service within a specific mailbox or folder.

Insights Profile Metrics

The Profile metrics section of a topic’s Insights report shows you key metrics about the social profiles that are connected to your topic.

Connecting Monitored Profile...

A key aspect of Social Connect is the ability to track data from monitored streams and send interactions to customers based on that data. In order to do so, one or more streams need to be connected in a topic. Within Social Connect there are two types of connections: Authorized and Unauthorized connections. Depending on which one you choose, you will have different options available:
