Supported Data Sources
About Supported Data Sources in Qualtrics Social Connect
Qualtrics Social Connect supports data from many different social profiles. This page covers the two different methods available for monitoring social profiles.
Monitored Social Profiles
You can link your own profiles or competitor profiles to a topic to track all activity on these profiles. You can view the available social profiles when editing a topic. The available social profiles include:
- Keyword searches
- Facebook pages & ad accounts
- Twitter accounts
- Instagram profiles, DMs, hashtags and ads
- LinkedIn companies and brands
- YouTube channels
- Khoros community boards
- Telligent forums v10.x
- Telligent conversations v10.x
- Apple Messages for Business
- Text messaging
- RSS feeds
- Historical data
- Telegram bots
- Tumblr blogs
- Live chat
- Product and location reviews
- Google my business reviews
- Google play store reviews
- Apple store reviews
- Viber
Keyword Searches
Instead of adding the profile as a monitored profile, you can also ingest data into Social Connect by using a keyword search. This allows you to pull in content that matches your keyword on various sites. The data available for keyword searches depends on the type of social platform.
Social Networks
In general, you should add social networks as monitored profiles instead of using a keyword search.
For Twitter, you can set up a keyword search that will track any public Twitter mentions.
News Sites, Forums, and Blogs
You can also monitor news sites, forums, and blogs using keyword searches. Mentions from these sites are not tracked in real time and may take longer before they appear in your Inbox.
You can track both local and international websites. However, not all sites are available for tracking. If you have questions about if a page is available for tracking, contact Qualtrics Support.
