About Qualtrics Public Preview

Public preview is a program that allows you to access new and updated Qualtrics features in your accounts before they are fully launched. These features are all production ready, and have passed Qualtrics security, quality, and technical release requirements. When using these features, you may be asked to provide feedback on your experience either in-product or through a survey.

Attention: Features in public preview are only available to users on the new simplified pricing and packaging plans, as well as users who actively used the feature in the Early Access preview program.

Enabling Public Preview Features

Public Preview features are disabled by default, and must be manually enabled within the Admin tab. Brand Admins can enable features at the division level, user type level, or for individual users. To learn more about user permissions in Qualtrics, see User, Group, & Division Permissions.

  1. Navigate to the Admin tab.
    • To enable a feature for a specific user, Go to the Users tab.
    • To enable a feature for an entire user type, go to the User Types tab.
    • To enable a feature for an entire division, go to the Divisions tab.
  2. Click on the user, user type, or division you want to enable the feature for.
  3. Find the relevant public preview permission and click Enabled. See Available Public Preview Features for a list of features and the relevant permissions.

  4. Click Save or Apply.

AI-Generated Segments AI segments use artificial intelligence to evaluate data within your directory and propose industry-specific segments. The AI model will look into the embedded data that exists within your directory, such as demographics and common interests, as well as your industry, and then create segments that optimize business goals like revenue, loyalty, and renewal. Comment Summaries Widget (EX) This widget takes your team’s feedback and uses AI to create insightful summaries and highlight key topics. This widget is ideal for very large teams and organizations, where it can be difficult to go through thousands of individual responses. EX Comment Summaries
