What attracted you to Qualtrics in the first place?

Qualtrics is the first company I joined after graduating with the University of Utah and it has been the best decision I have ever made. I was first exposed to Qualtrics as an undergraduate researcher where I used the Qualtrics platform to conduct research studies in China. So when Megan Tidwell, now my amazing mentor, reached out to me on Linkedin about potential opportunities, I could not help but be very intrigued. When I came to Provo HQ for my interviews, I was immediately attracted to the friendly, welcoming environment full of smart, caring individuals. More importantly, I was thoroughly impressed by the growth of the company and the caliber of people. I felt that I could definitely develop and feel challenged in this environment.

What surprised you most about working at Qualtrics?

From working at Qualtrics for a little more than a year now, I’m pleasantly surprised by the #OneTeam mentality around our efforts at the company. My team is truly amazing! I have definitely felt that my managers truly care about my success as I continue to grow and develop my career. Oftentimes, people who are graduating and moving into the corporate world may have this misconception that it is a “Dog-eat-Dog” world. However, at Qualtrics, I have most definitely seen over and over again that the culture helps foster a sense of belonging and support. People on the team have constantly helped advocate and support my success as they continue to work on building on their own success. Truly #Oneteam!

What is your 'why'? Why do you do what you do...

My purpose in life is to help others by connecting them with opportunities to help them achieve success. Growing up, I have always cared deeply about community issues and social causes. I believe that through my contributions in business and humanities, I can make the world a better place. I also firmly believe that businesses should be socially responsible for the welfare of society. Hence, my interest is aligned with Qualtrics' #5ForTheFight campaign to raise cancer awareness with the mission of eradicating it. My ultimate goal is to be a change agent and help society in any shape or form. As a recruiter at Qualtrics, I want to continue to connect people to different opportunities that align with their career aspirations and help them find their success.
