Why Qualtrics – Marta Piedrafita – Enterprise Sales – Madrid, Spain

My “why” is geared to providing the best for my family, being a role model for my daughter, and being the best professional I can in this industry. Helping others and being as involved as I am involved with NGOs and organizations that I believe in, including our own 5FTF. I am very proud of this at Qualtrics as it is making not only a difference but impacting stories with partners and clients.

What attracted you to Qualtrics in the first place?

I foremost loved the spirit: the halo was clear to me from the start. The opportunity to be part of something really special, a company that is not just shaping the industry but also building a technology and a culture that impacts the way individuals with their own experiences as customers or employees are shaped. We are bringing relevance to the voice of the people that claim they want companies to do things differently! And the greatest thing is that everyone gets it!!

What was the turning point where you “had to have the job”?

After my first interview, I researched through and watched various interviews and videos from top management at Qualtrics. I got really excited and had to go for it!!!

What does your day look like?

I love my days, they are never the same. The company moves so fast that it is difficult to do something twice. It is also true that each customer is unique and the way we approach selling is very much tailored to the needs and requirements we come across. We are on a roll and that also means we fly fast into a constant development and innovation path.

What is your favorite part of your role?

Customers! And our just so amazing tech! Seeing their reactions when we demo or share the possibilities. This is just my favorite!

Any tips for someone who is considering a role at Qualtrics?

Just join us! You will never regret it! I promise!

What surprised you most about working at Qualtrics?

Always the people and the spirit. The diversity is incredible and with that the culture is top notch!

What made you want to get into Sales?

So, it's been my life and career...I find that working with partners and clients is just what I love to do!

What are your aspirations in career/life?

In life, it is as simple as feeling whole: being a good mother as well as a great professional! I pride myself for the places I have worked at and the people I worked with!

Working across teams and helping others achieve is also a wonderful feeling!

What is your top #LifeHack?

Probably as simple as being a mother and working at the rhythm we work today!

I think if you truly believe in something you have to put your heart to it!! That is the best way to enjoy things both at work and at home! Enjoy the path and reflect on it!!
