Every morning I am grateful to have 4 innocent eyes that look up to me. Not only because they are dependent on me, but because they are looking for inspiration, encouragement, and love. I feel my WHY and my job at Qualtrics challenges me to do the same. I am driven to ignite growth and passion amongst my team; and for that, I am grateful to work at Qualtrics. This is not just a place to come 9-5pm, but a place where ideas flow, growth is endless and ultimately where I fit in perfectly!
What surprised you most about working at Qualtrics?
The people. I guess it wasn’t a big surprise considering everyone that interviewed me was incredible. However, the caliber of intelligence and strength each person carries is consistent throughout the company, and that is impressive. I enjoy the people I work with, which in turn truly encourages the right behaviors to drive the best results. I love the motto “hire people better than you”, as that is how we continue to grow.
What made you want to get into Sales?
Sales has been the best mistake! I say that because I spent the first part of my career in Operations. I know it, love it, and still have a passion for it. However, an opportunity opened up for me to lead a Sales team and I am so grateful. Knowing and running sales is truly understanding the engine under the hood. We truly have a world-class sales organization that has the support of all executives, which is superior to most other companies. I don’t think sales will be my end result, but it is a massive milestone in my overall career to understanding what drives a business and how to manage people.
What is your top #LifeHack?
#SayYES
Yes, it’s good to learn how to say no sometimes, but I truly believe in saying Yes. Saying Yes brings more opportunities, expands your daily limits, and ultimately helps construct a better you. Take on that extra project and step up to the plate!
