Why Qualtrics – Jason Ong – Enterprise Sales Rep – Singapore
I love to help solve problems for people around me - family, friends, colleagues, customers, partners...even strangers I meet on the street. Nothing beats bringing about a smile on the face of someone in need by offering help.
Qualtrics is in the business of helping organisations solve their business challenges with new XM technology, and I love to be part of this very cool and purposeful movement.
What attracted you to Qualtrics in the first place?
Introducing a new XM element to how organisations run their business, and how it gels perfectly with their O data.
What was the turning point where you 'had to have the job'?
When there was an opening for the role.
What does your day look like?
Currently it's still onboarding and learning about the system and solution positioning, but eventually, I'll be spending most of my days evangelising to organisations about the new XM story.
What is your favorite part of your role?
Bringing about the "Aha!" moment to customers when they understand and appreciate the XM story.
Any tips for someone who is considering a role at Qualtrics?
Brace yourself for a very vibrant, high energy culture, with many new developments and fast-paced growth coming your way!
What surprised you most about working at Qualtrics?
The transparency - I actually know what our CEO's schedule for the week looks like!
What made you want to get into sales?
Being in sales gives me the perfect platform to tell the XM story to my customers, and to be in the best position to solve their business problems.
What are your aspirations in career/life?
To be the best in solution selling.
What is your top #LifeHack?
Get at least 7 hours of sleep daily.
How have you become involved in community at Qualtrics?
Nothing yet but I'm hoping to start an official Qualtrics basketball team here in Singapore!
