First Day

What does my first day look like?

Your first day will take place in person at the Seattle Office. You will receive a calendar invite about a week before your start date containing the schedule for the day. Day 1 in the office includes tuning into the orientation zoom call, picking up swag, and getting an office tour. Lunch will be provided.

If you are unable to make it to the office on your first day, there will be a zoom link provided to you that you can join from home.

Where is the office located?

1201 2nd Ave, Floor 17, Seattle, WA 98101

How do I get my badge?

Come to the 17th floor in Q Tower anytime between 8-5 and get an access card from our front desk staff. (Once you arrive on 17, the glass door will be locked before 9 am, so please knock and a receptionist will help you. The button to the right of the door will call building security, so please don’t push that.) 

If you drive in and don't have a badge yet, please use the East Elevator from the parking garage to level 3. From level 3, you can get to 17 without an access card.

Reach out via Slack to Qiana Gurney (Front Desk Receptionist) or Melanie Rogers (Workplace Experience Manager) if you encounter any issues on your first day in the office.

Parking

Where do I park?

If you will be driving to the office on your first day, there is a parking garage below our building. The entrance is on the side of the building, on Seneca Street, and there is complimentary valet parking on P3. 

Do I need special access/permission for the parking garage?

No, the garage is open to the public and the hourly rates are listed at the entrance. 

Do we get reimbursement for parking or public transit?

Yes, you may choose to either get reimbursed up to $150/month for parking or you can choose to get an ORCA card, covered in full by Qualtrics, for public transit to the office each day. We do not allow parking reimbursement and an ORCA card in the same month.

Is there a place to store my bike?

Yes. Use 2+U tenant app (Search your app store for “2andu”) to sign waivers - there is a separate waiver each for bike storage access and locker room access. After waivers are processed you will have access, check with the front desk about any issues.
