A fun career: Erika, Sales Recruiter, talks building Qualtrics
I am from New Jersey and moved out to Utah at 17 to be on the University of Utah’s gymnastics team. Gymnastics was my life from the age of 2 and once I graduated I was so lost. Then I found Qualtrics! I knew I wanted to be at a company that had high energy, growth, and high performance, and that knew how to have FUN! I have been a sales recruiter at Qualtrics for a year and a half and I absolutely LOVE it. I really feel that I have the opportunity to impact someone's career in such a positive way!
What attracted you to Qualtrics in the first place?
Growth!
What was the turning point where you knew you 'had to have the job' at Qualtrics?
When I met the team and felt the culture in person!
What does your day look like?
My day consists of prospecting candidates, phone calls with candidates, setting up interviews with the team, working with hiring managers & team meetings.
What is your favorite part of your role?
I have a chance to change/impact someone's life creating meaningful relationships along the way.
What has surprised you most about working at Qualtrics?
Qualtrics takes care of their employees - no matter what!
What is your top #LifeHack?
Never be afraid of an impossible challenge & make people smile!
What's a favorite moment/memory of your time at Qualtrics so far? Or an impactful moment?
Going skiing with my team & the best friends I have gained working at Qualtrics.
What 3 words would you use to describe Qualtrics to someone?
Energetic, one team, & competitive.
