Zach, Sales Development Representative: Helping provide a voice
My "why" is using my talents to help others! Be it family, friends, or others I may not know well, helping others brings me a lot of joy. Qualtrics allows me to do this through providing everyone with a voice to be heard via experience management.
What attracted you to Qualtrics in the first place?
I was attracted to Qualtrics because of their reputation around Utah as being the “go-to” tech firm that treats their employees super well.
What does your day look like?
My days are all pretty straightforward, I start the day by going through my email inbox and checking for prospects that may have responded to one of my emails asking for a meeting. I hop on our morning team huddle and discuss our daily goals and itinerary. The rest of my day is spent on strategic syncs with my Account Executives, qualifying calls with prospects, and doing lots of outreach to potential new clients.
What is your favorite part of your role?
My favorite part of my role is the freedom that it provides me. I control my daily schedule, and with that, I can control my prospecting, pipeline, and eventual monthly bonuses.
Any tips for someone who is considering a role at Qualtrics?
My best tip for someone who is interested in a position at Qualtrics is to reach out to a current employee in a similar role and ask questions about their daily experiences. Getting an internal referral definitely helps in getting your application seen!
What made you want to get into sales?
Sales resonated with me because I am a self-driven person who loves to help others, which is all a tech sales role really is. I like acting as a consultant and helping people solve problems through our solutions. The monthly bonuses are nice too!

Innovative, Laid-back, and Fun!
