Shelley is Happy to Help People Understand and Solve Problems as a Sales Development Representative
It connects in everything I do! I am passionate about helping people understand their problems and reach their full potential. Qualtrics provides me with the opportunities and challenges to help clients and coworkers nearly every day. It's really great to be part of an organisation full of like-minded people who are always willing to share their knowledge and help you grow.
What attracted you to Qualtrics in the first place?
I first heard about Qualtrics in an Irish Times article about the Qualtrics expansion in Ireland. Since then, I met a few people who were working in Qualtrics, and what really stood out to me was how passionate each of them was about the company and the vision. I could tell how fulfilled they were with both the role and the community and knew I wanted to be a part of it.
What was the turning point where you knew you 'had to have the job' at Qualtrics?
The whole recruitment process was a pleasure from the initial phone call to the last interview.
The real turning point was the welcome I had when I stepped into the office for that first interview. People smiled and said hello, introduced themselves in the lift and offered directions when it was obvious I didn't know where I was going. It just felt like a really nice community and I wanted to be part of it.
What is your favorite part of your role?
I am on the Business Development Team for the Benelux region and the first person to speak to potential customers.
I love how every day and every conversation is always different and find it exciting to see when customers finally understand the impact Qualtrics can have on their business.
What has surprised you most about working at Qualtrics?
Qualtrics is an open, friendly, and inclusive company that is growing rapidly. There is so much career growth potential if you work hard.

Shelley is an alumnus of the Dublin Institute of Technology and started her career at Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons. Shelley is a passionate chef and baker and she tries a different recipe every evening - she loves feeding people. |
