Why Qualtrics is the workplace for Rebecca, Sales Development Representative

My 'why' is interacting with people. I am very much a people person! I thrive off interacting and working with different people and working as an SDR in Qualtrics definitely fulfills this. Every day I get the chance to chat with interesting people from a variety of companies worldwide, which keeps my job really interesting and exciting.

What attracted you to Qualtrics in the first place?

I always knew I wanted to work in the tech industry because it's a really exciting and dynamic environment to work in. Once I knew this, I talked to people in different tech companies in Dublin in order to learn more about their roles and different company cultures. This was really important because I knew that looking for a job was not purely about the role, but also about the organisational and cultural fit. I talked to 2-3 employees in Qualtrics and I loved the sound of Qualtrics as a workplace. It seemed to have a great company culture, and a lot of opportunities for graduates, so it seemed like a great place to launch my sales career.

What was the turning point where you knew you 'had to have the job' at Qualtrics?

After doing my first on-site interview in Qualtrics, I knew I had to have the job. The whole interview process was very enjoyable, and everyone I met was so friendly. There was such a great atmosphere in the office, and it seemed like a very welcoming and inclusive place to work.

What is your favorite part of your role?

There are a few different things I love about my job. I think the main one for me would be how the SDR role is very structured. I am a very goal - orientated individual, so I love working in a role where I have clear objectives and metrics to work towards. The SDR programme in Qualtrics also provides you with a lot of ongoing training, which makes it a great place to launch a sales career.

What 3 words would you use to describe Qualtrics to someone?

Inclusive, fun, and challenging.
