My Qualtrics Experience – Meaghan Kavanaugh – Recruiter – Dallas
What did you choose as your Qualtrics Experience?
I took a trip to the West Coast and visited Seattle and Vancouver. My boyfriend and I had the BEST TIME! We've never been to either place, so we got to try a ton of amazing new restaurants, saw a lot of cool sights (space needle, Pike's Place market, the gum wall), took a ferry ride to Bainbridge island, hiked, etc. We had been wanting to visit that area for a long time but never wanted to allocate budget towards it, so being able to use my Qualtrics Experience for it was awesome.
One of our objectives at Qualtrics is to encourage employees to Learn, Lead, and Live. What did you learn through this experience?
I got to see a part of North America that I had never seen before. Spending time outdoors and in nature reminds me how big the world is and how much is out there for us to take advantage of. I think sometimes we get caught up in the day-to-day of our jobs and personal lives, so exploring a new place is always inspiring.
I also got to check out the Q Seattle office while I was in town, which was really cool to finally be able to check out the space and meet some of the team out there. I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to get out and explore with this company.
