My Qualtrics Experience – Gabe Eyerly – Research Services Account Executive – Provo
What did you choose as your Qualtrics Experience?
I took my family (Myself, My Wife, and 3 boys aged 7,4, & 1) to Legoland in Southern California. This was the first vacation we have taken in 7 years just for fun. All other trips were to visit someone for some event. We were able to use to funds to stay in the Lego Castle on the grounds of the amusement park and really ensure our boys had a great experience. I can’t tell you how amazing it was to know I could give that experience to my boys without concern for cost or scrapping to save money here or there.
One of our objectives at Qualtrics is to encourage employees to Learn, Lead, and Live. What did you learn through this experience?
Overall this experience gave me the chance to create moments in my family’s lives without me being distant or distracted where we could grow closer with each other. My oldest 2 boys were challenged to overcome fears in the unknown and especially with heights. They pushed themselves and found new confidence in stepping outside our comforts. And my wife and I were able to spend a week together focused on what means the most to us - our family. We have never been able to do that before.
