Qualtrics Experience
My Qualtrics Experience – Ashley Robinson – Senior Specialist Marketing
What did you choose as your Qualtrics Experience?
For almost 10 years my husband has dreamed of learning to kite surf; last year he purchased a 13 foot trainer kite (that easily pulls me off the ground) and totes it around any day there is a remote possibility of sustained winds. We even have this tiny, nerdy fan that plugs into his phone to read wind speed and direction.
Even with all of that, I bugged out when he told me how much it costs to learn (it's just an instructor with a kite and a board, right?!) so when Qualtrics announced the experience bonus, it was a no brainer. Sam and I spent a week in the outer banks kiteboarding, surfing, and eating our way through all the local seafood joints. By the end of the trip we were both up and riding like pros!
One of our objectives at Qualtrics is to encourage employees to Learn, Lead, and Live. How did your experience encourage this?
Leading might be a stretch here (though kiteboarding is still a relatively niche hobby), but we certainly learned and lived. After being ripped out of and then pulled back down to the water about a million times, we both got the hang of it. There really is nothing like the wind pulling you into an endless sunset on the water.
Also, for 24 years I have plugged my nose every time I hit the water, a habit I FINALLY kicked during this trip. So thanks, Qualtrics, it was one for the books!
Just one more example of why you might want to check out our open opportunities at Qualtrics and see if you are a fit!
