My Qualtrics Experience – Andrew Coffman – Team Lead – Sydney, Australia
What did you choose as your Qualtrics Experience?
We spent a week on the island of Fiji - it was an incredible experience. We're in Sydney only temporarily, so we're trying to visit places in this part of the world that we wouldn't see otherwise. I never knew Fiji was only a 4-hour flight from Australia, so we put it on our list and made plans. Because of the experience bonus, we were able to make it a fantastic, week-long trip and thoroughly enjoy the experience rather than worry about costs.
One of our objectives at Qualtrics is to encourage employees to Learn, Lead, and Live. What did you learn through this experience?
Traveling with kids isn't easy. But we travel a lot. I make it a priority to travel and see the world with my family because I want my children to have a desire to help other people. Having a greater understanding of the world around them helps spark this desire. We took the time to go to a 
local school in a nearby village to play with the children and provide some service. It was a great experience for my kids to see how different their school experience is, and also how all of the students were still so happy. It was good for them to spend time with kids their age that don't look like them or talk like them, but still play like them. Afterward, we took time to help our children understand that possessions don't create happiness and that they are incredibly blessed to live the life that they do.
