Why Qualtrics
Alexa-Reigh, Account Executive, Talks Fresh Starts at Qualtrics
My core values are being family-focused & personal development. In my last role, I felt stagnant and unengaged. I was looking for a new opportunity to learn, to sell to a new audience, and to be with like-minded individuals. A huge draw for me was that Qualtrics is one of the fastest-growing companies in technology and the company culture was huge. I read stellar Glassdoor reviews and resonated with their #AllIn mindset and saw that everyone was engaged to win.
What attracted you to Qualtrics in the first place?
I was attracted to Qualtrics, and the Toronto office especially, because it had that start-up feel but with the core and backing of a large organization. I love our tight-knit team!
What was the turning point where you “had to have the job”?
In my interview with Ryan Lazar, he told me about the Qualtrics values of “TACOS.” I really resonated with everything, especially the S for “Scrappy.” I switched into sales after time in media and events and struggled to get in the door with no business background. I really liked the emphasis on growth and coachability that Qualtrics has.
Any tips for someone who is considering a role at Qualtrics?
Just do it. Be ready to put your head down and work hard, but it’s worth it. Every day I am so grateful for the people I work with, the resources available, and all the growth I've had in 3 months. You won't regret it.
What surprised you most about working at Qualtrics?
Honestly, across the board, the people at Qualtrics are the nicest, good-hearted people you will ever meet. From SDR to enterprise roles everyone is so welcoming, willing to share advice, and offer help.
