From the Q-mmunity
A look at MOSAIQ Volunteering Month
Throughout the months of September and October, members of MOSAIQ around the world volunteered in their communities. Here’s a look at what some of our members in India, Sydney, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Seoul participated in.
Our team in India organized a donation drive and encouraged everyone to bring things to the office and took them to charities in their area. In addition to this drive, some of our other global teams participated in various volunteering opportunities.
Team in Sydney went clean-up kayaking and collected 4.21kg of waste from the water to help clear pollution and make a safer environment for marine life.
Team Hong Kong helped prepare meal boxes for Food Angels — an organization that rescues edible surplus food from different sectors of the food industry that would otherwise be disposed of as waste. They use this food to prepare meals and serve them to underprivileged communities in Hong Kong.
Team Singapore volunteered by hand making Children’s Day cards for kids at AWWA - a social service agency that provides children and families with social assistance and care services. Children’s Day is celebrated to promote child welfare.
Team Seoul went plogging at a public park. Plogging is a combination of walking and jogging while picking up trash in the area.
We’re proud of our global teams who made wonderful contributions to the environment and their communities.
